For this year’s Book Week celebrations at Holy Trinity, we had many exciting events that occurred.
Many of our highlights included, the Book Week Performance, “Big Dreams,” engaging many of the students and influencing them to keep persisting in their dreams.
As well as our fantastic Book Week Performance, we had our Book Character Parade. There were many creative costumes, inspired by our favourite books from Diary of the Wimpy Kid to favourite Princess characters.
This year’s theme, “Reading is my Secret Power,” encouraged many students to express themselves through their knowledge of reading. Like the famous Dr. Seuss stated, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

🌏✨ Multicultural Day Fun! ✨🌏 What an incredible day we had celebrating Multicultural Day alongside our friends from Delany College! 🎉 Students proudly showcased cultural dances, paraded in vibrant traditional dress, and enjoyed delicious food from around the world. 🍜🌮🥟 The atmosphere was filled with colour, music and joy! In the afternoon, our Year 6 students took part in a range of fun activities run by the amazing Delany students — a fantastic way to finish the day! 🎶 Exciting news for our Year 4 students! 🎶 This week marks a special milestone — they’ve taken their band instruments home for the very first time! 🥁🎺🎷 We can’t wait to hear the music they’ll be making as they begin their journey as young musicians. 🎼 Parents, get ready for some living room concerts! 🎵💫 Even our teachers have been getting in some practice — we’re all learning together, one note at a time! 🎶👏

🙏 Feast of the Holy Trinity ✝️ This week, our school community came together to celebrate the Feast of the Holy Trinity—a special time to reflect on the mystery of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Through prayer, song, and classroom reflections, our students explored the meaning of the Trinity and how God's love is shared with us in three persons, united as one. 💙🕊️ As a school named in honour of the Holy Trinity, this feast holds deep significance for us, reminding us of the faith that guides and connects us every day. To mark the occasion, students also enjoyed a sweet treat—donuts with their friends—adding a joyful and tasty touch to the celebration! 🍩🥰

What an exciting day we had at Wednesday’s Soccer Gala Day! Our boys’ team gave it their all, playing seven games and scoring an incredible 10 goals throughout the day. Their final match was a thrilling decider that had everyone on the edge of their seats! 👏🔥 Our girls’ team showed fantastic teamwork and resilience, drawing most of their games and celebrating a well-earned goal! 🎉💪 Well done to all players for your sportsmanship, determination, and school spirit. Our school community came together to celebrate Pentecost with a beautiful liturgy. The students reflected on the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the meaning of Pentecost as the birthday of the Church. With prayer, song, and thoughtful readings, we were reminded of the power of faith, unity, and being guided by the Spirit in our daily lives. 🎉🕺 School Disco Fun! 💃🌍 What an incredible night at our School Disco! The energy was high, the music was pumping, and the smiles were contagious as our school community came together for a fun-filled evening — all in support of Multicultural Day 🌏💙 Students danced the night away, enjoyed a sausage sizzle, and treated themselves to popcorn, glowsticks, and lolly bags 🍿✨🍭. Meanwhile, some of our wonderful parents joined in the fun with a few lively games of bingo! 🎉 Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the night such a success — your support brings our community closer and helps us celebrate the rich diversity in our school.

As a school we participated in the National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday the 21st of May. Each class read the book 'The Truck Cat' at the same time, sharing the wonderful story of Yacoub and his beloved cat. Each student had the opportunity to win a copy of the story by going in a class draw. Congratulations to all our winners! 🚛🐱

🌟 Lifted Jnr 2024 – A Day of Faith, Hope & Inspiration 🌟 Some of our students had the wonderful opportunity to attend Lifted Jnr, a powerful event designed to inspire young people to grow in faith, leadership, and community. ✝️💫 The theme of the day centred around hope, reminding our students that even in challenging times, we are called to be people of light and possibility. One of the highlights was a moving and energetic performance by Sr Rosie Drum, whose message and music truly resonated with everyone there. 🎶🙏 It was a joyful and spirit-filled experience that our students will carry with them in their hearts.
