For this year’s Book Week celebrations at Holy Trinity, we had many exciting events that occurred.

Many of our highlights included, the Book Week Performance, “Big Dreams,” engaging many of the students and influencing them to keep persisting in their dreams.

As well as our fantastic Book Week Performance, we had our Book Character Parade. There were many creative costumes, inspired by our favourite books from Diary of the Wimpy Kid to favourite Princess characters.

This year’s theme, “Reading is my Secret Power,” encouraged many students to express themselves through their knowledge of reading. Like the famous Dr. Seuss stated, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

We are pleased to announce that we have a new Religious Education Curriculum called “Encountering Jesus”, which will be implemented in our school community in 2025. Encountering Jesus invites all students to consider how the teachings of Jesus Christ can apply to their lives. If you have any questions, please contact the office and for further information visit the CSPD website ✝🙏 https://www.parra.catholic.edu.au/learning/specialised-learning/religious-education https://youtu.be/85frkei67_U

Congratulations to our three students who competed in the Voice of Youth competition, with one student winning the Social Justice Award and another securing Runner-Up. We are so proud of them, as it takes a great deal of courage and preparation to stand in front of strangers and speak.🗣
