Year 4 have been busy with their Harmony Day learning and creativity 🧡 Students worked thoughtfully on their Harmony Day craft, writing about how everyone belongs and sharing ideas on how they can help make our school a more harmonious and inclusive place! Later in the week, they switched gears to Mathematics, where they have been exploring fractions and building their understanding through a range of engaging activities 🧮

Year 3 did a wonderful job this morning bringing the story of Palm Sunday to life 🌿 Through their reverent and thoughtful performance, they helped us reflect on Jesus’ journey into Jerusalem and the true meaning of this special time in our liturgical year. We are so proud of the confidence, respect and enthusiasm they showed. Thank you, Year 3, for sharing this beautiful message with our school community 💙

Year 6 White have been learning about what it means to be a holy person. Students explored the qualities and actions that make someone holy, reflecting on how they can show kindness, compassion and faith in their own lives ✝

Stage 3 have been learning to partition numbers (up to 12 digits) in both standard and non-standard form, strengthening their understanding of place value and how numbers can be broken apart and represented in different ways. Students explored a range of strategies to explain their thinking, working collaboratively to solve problems and share their ideas with one another! To finish our Harmony Day celebrations, students came together for a friendly game of soccer, celebrating each other’s cultures in a fun, respectful and inclusive way. It was a wonderful opportunity to build teamwork and recognise that everyone belongs 🧡

Stage 1 celebrated Harmony Day together by creating a beautiful, large flower! Each student designed a hand-shaped petal to represent what Harmony Day means to them. This special activity highlighted the importance of inclusiveness, respect and belonging, reminding us all that everyone belongs 🧡

Kindergarten have begun their Easter preparations! Students worked together to colour in a giant Easter poster, showing great teamwork, creativity and excitement as they learn about this special time. We are looking forward to continuing our learning and celebrations in the lead up to Easter!

700+ Unite for Project Compassion Big Water Walk
More than 700 students and staff from 23 schools across Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) came together for Caritas Australia’s Big Water Walk in support of Project Compassion. Beginning at Parramatta Park, students carried buckets of water along a 4km route, gaining a glimpse of the daily journey faced by people in developing communities, especially women and children, in search of clean water.

We recently held a wonderful Celebration of Learning, where parents and families were welcomed into our classrooms to see the amazing work their children have been completing. 💙 Students were proud to share their learning, explaining their ideas, achievements and growth across a range of subjects. It was fantastic to see the excitement on their faces as they showcased their efforts and reflected on their progress. 💙 Thank you to all the families who joined us—your support made this event so special and meaningful for our students. 💙

We had a wonderful opportunity to come together with Delany College to celebrate St Patrick’s Day Mass. 💚 Students were respectful and reverent as we gathered in faith, reflecting on the life of St Patrick and the message of hope, courage and trust in God. It was a beautiful celebration of community, bringing our schools together in prayer and unity. 💚☘

Year 5 used a range of strategies they had been learning to find unknown numbers in multiplication and division equations during their Mathematics lesson. Sharing their responses was a highlight, as students explained their thinking and discovered new ways to solve problems together. 💙📚✏️

Year 2 explored God’s Creation in Religion, learning about the seven days of Creation in the Bible and discussing why and how we should respect and care for the world God has given us. Students represented their learning in a creative and meaningful way. The leaves symbolised nature and the beauty of God’s creation, the stones represented us as humans who are called to care for the Earth, and the candle and cross reminded us that God is at the centre of all creation. It was wonderful to see students reflecting on how we can appreciate and protect the world God created for us. 💙🌿🕯️

Year 1 have been busy in Maths learning how to label bar models and match them with the correct number bonds. Through hands-on activities, students are building their understanding of how numbers can be broken apart and put back together. It’s wonderful to see them developing their confidence and problem-solving skills! 💙📚✏️
